ANGAUL: Tension ran high in Angul hospital on Saturday over the death of youth in the hospital. Following the death, irate locals ransacked the hospital and beat up the Additional District Medical Officer N Sahu.
Police said two local youths were rushed to Angul Government Hospital after being injured in a road mishap at Hulurisinga. One of them died in the hospital after some time and the other was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.Locals alleged that the youth died in the hospital due to negligence on the part of the attending doctors.

The situation was brought under control with the help of police. No arrests have been made so far.
