Sonali Kulkarni is one of the well-known actresses in the Marathi film industry. She has proven herself as a bankable actress with films like Miktwaa, Poshter Girl and Tamasha Live, to name a few. The actress remains well-connected with her fans through social media. She is now gearing up for her upcoming film Sshort And Ssweet which is directed by Ganesh Kadam. The film also features Shridhar Watsar in the lead. While the film has an amazing star cast, two persons will make their debut with this film.
They are Sonali Kulkrani’s parents, Savinder Kulkarni and Manohar Kulkrani. According to reports, the film’s shooting was done in Pune and Sonali’s parents came to visit her on the sets. That day, the team was filming a scene of Sonali travelling on a bus. As her parents were present during the scene, the director decided to include them as well, which her parents gladly accepted. In the film, Sonali’s parents will be seen as fellow passengers on the bus who will be sitting behind the actress in a scene.
Her parents even expressed that they enjoyed being part of the film. The film also features Harshad Atkari, Ajit Bhure, Onkar Bhojane, Rasika Sunil and Tushar Khair in the lead.
The film Sshort And Ssweet revolves around the relationship between a father and son. As per the trailer, the son, played by Harshad Atkar, wants to meet his father but when his mother is introduced to him, it turns out that his father is someone he never expected to be. The film is said to be a ride full of emotion and acceptance.

Director Ganesh said that the story of the film is as sweet as the title of the film suggests. He explained that a relationship between a father and son is always complicated but there are some things which can be agreed upon.
The film is produced by Payal Kadam and Vinod Rao, while the story, screenplay and dialogue are written by Swapnil Baraskar. The music has been scored by Santosh Mulekar. Sshort And Ssweet is set to hit the cinemas on November 3.
