Aden attack: Sister Sally to be evacuated from Missionaries of Charity in Aden, says Chandy
Sister Sally lucky escaped the terror attack in Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity in Aden after she hid herself in a room.

Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chandy said Sister Sally, the mother superior of the old age home run by the Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity in Aden, will be shifted out of Yemen soon.

On March 4, four nuns of the Missionaries of Charity, including one from India, were killed by terrorists at Kolkata-based Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity in Aden. The Indian nun has been identified as Sister M. Anseleme, 57, from Jharkhand. Of the other three nuns, two were from Rwanda and another from Kenya.

Chandy said he spoke to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday night and came to know that Indian embassy officials from Djibouti have established contacts with Sister Sally, who hails from Kerala.

"I spoke Sally and she said that she has been contacted by Indian embassy officials from Djibouti who are expected to come to take her with them on Monday. She said there is no information about the priest Tom Kuzhuvennal, who hails from Kottayam district and was taken away by the terrorists," he said.
