2 TTD clerks arrested for ticket scam

TIRUPATI: Two TTD employees, accused in the sensational `Arjita seva ticket booking scam, were arrested late on Monday night and produced in court on Tuesday by the Tirumala police.Second additional judicial first class magistrate Nageswar Rao remanded them to 15 days’ judicial custody. The duo, Hemadri, an UDC, and Madhusudan, an LDC, in the Arjitam office on Tirumala were among the 57 accused.Following a public furore over the scam, Tirumala Two Town police registered a case under various sections of IPC. As many as 57 persons, including three former trust board members, were involved in the scam.
