Nandamuri Balakrishna is gearing up for the release of his highly-anticipated film, Bhagavanth Kesari. The trailer launch event for the film was held at Warangal, Telangana recently. A video is going viral from the event, where Balakrishna spoke about a conversation he had with his son, Mokshagna Teja. The hilarious anecdote made the audience laugh. Balakrishna is known to speak his mind.
According to him, actress Sreeleela calls him chicha (Uncle) in the film, and he expressed to his family that he wanted to work with her as a hero. He revealed, “I wanted to do the next film with Sreeleela as the heroine. I told them (wife and son) the same thing at home.” His son Mokshagna scolded him upon hearing this. He gave a warning and said that Mokshagna himself is the next hero. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s words made Sreeleela, and the audience laugh.
During his speech, Nandamuri Balakrishna spoke about the film, where he said that there is a lot more to the film than revealed in the trailer. He said, “We will show it step by step… If you see the film, you can’t stop the fans. Let’s go for Dussehra. I am used to taking up challenges.” Talking about his co-star, actress Kajal Aggarwal, he said, “Kajal is a good actress. She took a gap in the middle. I wanted to act with her.” This is going to be Kajal’s first film with Nandamuri Balakrishna.
There have been a lot of rumours for Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna Teja’s debut in the past few years. According to some recent reports, Balakrishna himself is overseeing his son’s debut. In an event, he revealed that he is planning to direct a sequel to his superhit Aditya 369, which is going to be titled Aditya 999. It will mark Mokshagna’s debut in films.
Bhagavanth Kesari is set to release on October 19. The film is directed by Anil Ravipudi, and the cast of the film includes Nandamuri Balakrishna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela, and Arjun Rampal, who is playing a negative role. Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are the producers, and Thaman S is composing the music in the film.
