Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK) is one of the most popular actors in the South Indian industry. He has had an illustrious career and has been a part of some of the biggest films in the South Indian film industry. Apart from impressing the audience with his acting abilities, he also has a keen interest in politics. The actor is also a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. NBK also hosts a popular talk show named Unstoppable With NBK.
The show has hit two seasons before and now he is set to get back with the third season. Many celebrities will appear on the show. In one of the viral videos, NBK revealed an anecdote about his late father, NT Rama Rao, and how they both got involved in an argument.
During one of the episodes of Unstoppable with NBK, filmmaker SS Rajamouli arrived with music composer MM Keeravani. Nandamuri Balakrishna asked him when he would do a film with him. The conversations were candid and the host even shared a throwback memory when he argued with his father.
He revealed that the film Samrat Ashoka was almost done with its scripting and was all ready to go on floors. He added that NT Rama Rao wanted him to play a role in the film, while NBK wanted to direct the film. He further said that he wanted to shoot the film with a 70-mm camera and even wanted 10,000 people for a scene and demanded 200 camels and horses.
When Nandamuri Balakrishna asked his father, as he was the producer of the film as well, he rejected his request. This angered the son and he threw the script in front of his father and left the film.
Later, the film was directed by NT Rama Rao himself. But it didn’t receive a great response from the audience and was declared a flop.
Unstoppable With NBK has had some of the biggest stars enter the show, like Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Boyapati Srinu and more.
