When Mohan Babu Spotted Jayasudha's Using Her Phone At Akkineni Nageswara Rao's 100th Birth Anniversary Event

One of the prominent actors in the history of the Telugu movie Industry, Akkineni Nageswara Rao graced the big screens with his over 200 movies in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. The actor’s career spanned over 7 decades and he is still remembered as a mentor for many superstars of Telugu cinema. On September 20, the Akkineni family celebrated the 100th birth anniversary of the late actor.

The event was attended by multiple stars and superstars of Indian cinema. Amid this grand event, a video of funny banter between veteran actor Mohan Babu and actress Jayasudha is now going viral.

In this grand ceremony, several actors and directors gave speeches, acknowledging the greatness of the legendary actor. Mohan Babu also shared his experience with the actor and said that it was god’s blessing that he was given a chance to work with the actor. He added that the Akkineni Nageswara Rao was humble and a kind person. After his speech, he was sitting beside actress Jayasudha.

While the other actors and directors were giving speeches about the greatness of the late actor, Jayasudha was busy looking at her phone. This was not well-received by Mohan Babu. The actor took the phone from the actress and asked her to listen to the speeches. Initially, the actress looked angry but later she laughed at this incident. The whole incident was uploaded on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter) by one of its users who goes by the name–Actual India. The video has now gone viral.

After watching the video fans couldn’t stop laughing at the incident. While some called it the morning motivation to not use the phone, others condemned this act of the actor. They said that he has no right to behave in this way to anyone.

Speaking on the occasion, the RRR director SS Rajamouli spoke kind words for Akkineni Nageswara Rao and expressed his admiration for him since childhood. During his career, he has spent only a few moments with the actor but he called those moments “treasured” while giving a speech at the event.
