Trailer Of Ram Gopal Varma's On The Road Unveiled; Film To Release In November

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is all set for the release of his next film On The Road. Ahead of the film’s release, its trailer was unveiled recently. The film has become the talk of the town for its special achievement. It is the first Indian movie that has been entirely shot in the beautiful location of Ladakh region.

The film On The Road explores the journey of a humble man who goes on a secured road trip with a couple. The adventurous journey triggers unexpected chaotic events which form the basic storyline of the film.

On October 11, Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) unveiled the film’s first look posters along with its trailer. During the trailer launch, he congratulated the team for their hard work and expressed his best wishes. Besides, he also praised the stunning visuals of the film. Directed by Mr Surya Lakkoju, the film is set to release in five languages including- Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.

Meanwhile, film producer and Vice President of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC), Mutyala Ramdass, also collaborated to supervise the film’s release. Speaking about the upcoming project, he said that the trailer and the films are distinct. Produced under the banner of SPL Pictures, the film’s director, during the launch event, expressed his fondness for the Western film genre.

The lead actor of the film, Raghav Tiwari also shared his challenges while portraying a complex character in the film. He revealed his careful approach to ensure that he was able to bring the role to life which further resulted in a satisfying output. At the same time, Swati Mehra also expressed her excitement about her first film which was shot beautifully in Ladakh.

She also reflected on the challenges that she faced because of low oxygen levels revealing that she had health issues during the climax scenes. R Subramanyam (Bobby), meanwhile, confirmed that the first copy of the film has been given for censor board review and that the film will be released in November 2023.
