Captain Miller is the next much-anticipated film in Tamil cinema starring the actor Dhanush. It is currently in the post-production phase and will be released on big screens on Pongal 2024 (January 15). Now, makers have amped up the fervour around this film by unveiling the release date of its first song. Dhanush has tweeted that the song, titled Killer Killer, will be released on November 22.
In the poster of the song, Dhanush has covered his face, with a red cloth. He is shown sitting on a stool with his gun. Dhanush wrote in the caption, “Captain Miller’s First single! Heard you want that fight, well here’s a war. I’ve tasted steel before, I have the scars. You will learn to fear my name, your eyes will never see the same KILLER KILLER CAPTAIN MILLER.” Arun Matheswaran has directed Captain Miller which will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. It is a period-action drama set in the 1980s.

Shivaraj Kumar, Nassar, Mark Bennington, John Kokken, Sundeep Kishan, and others have acted in this movie. Sathya Jyothi Films and Wunderbar Films have produced Captain Miller.
Captain Miller courted controversy some time back with the reports of being inspired by a real-life LTTE leader with the same name. LTTE was a Sri Lankan Tamil Rebel group. The film’s director Arun Matheswaran rubbished these allegations in an interview with The Times of India. Matheswaran also said that Captain Miller will be mounted on a massive budget. As per the director, the film will also cater to a large section of the audience. He said that the film will have not item songs as well.
Shiva Rajkumar’s role in Captain Miller has also escalated the excitement around this movie. In an interview with a YouTube channel, he revealed the reason behind working acting in this film. According to him, he has always appreciated Dhanush as an actor. He also said that Dhanush reminds him of the late actor Bruce Lee. As per the Kannada star, he sees himself in Dhanush. Shiva Rajkumar added that it could be because of Dhanush’s style or the way of his acting.
