Bigg Boss Telugu 7 premiered on September 3 on Star Maa and Disney+Hotstar with Nagarjuna Akkineni taking up the role of the host for the fifth time in a row. The show’s popularity is escalating on the TRP charts and has currently reached its fourth week. Six contestants Prince Yawar, Priyanka Jain, Rathika Rose, Gautham Krishna D, Tasty Tej and Subhashree Rayaguru have been nominated for the elimination round.
Initially, Tasty Teja and Subhashree were at the lowest rung of the tally with the former only securing 10 per cent of votes and the latter receiving 8 to 10 per cent of the votes. Now, however, there has been a slight change in the tally and Rathika has now reached the tally’s bottom with low votes. On the other hand, Subhashree is out of the danger zone with a good number of votes. Meanwhile, there has been no improvement in the position of Tasty Teja, and he has received the lowest votes, amongst all the contestants. Keeping the current data in mind, it now seems that Teja is the contestant who is most likely to get evicted in the fourth week.
Popular singer Damini Bhatla was evicted from the BB house in the third week. She was voted out despite being one of the most famous celebrities in the film industry. Damini’s strategy in the BB house was questioned by the viewers and the contestants. During her participation in the show, Damini reportedly earned a weekly salary of Rs 2 lakh.
According to reports, Damini earned a total remuneration of Rs 6 lakh in her three-week tenure. She catapulted to fame for her singing in films Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Bhaagamathie and Godfather. She has also achieved critical acclaim for the rendition of the song Pachbottesina Pilagada Neetho in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali.
Bigg Boss 7 Telugu airs on Star Maa at 9 p.m. on weekends and at 9:30 p.m. on weekdays. Eliminations are scheduled for the weekend episodes. The episodes of this show are available for online streaming on the Disney+ Hotstar platform.
