This wikiHow teaches you how to allow your iPhone to automatically raise or lower the screen brightness depending on your location's light level.
Open your iPhone's Settings. Do so by tapping the grey gear icon on one of your iPhone's Home screens (it may be in a folder entitled "Utilities").
Tap Display & Brightness. It's in the third group of options.
Slide the grey "Auto-Brightness" switch right to the "On" position. It should turn green, signifying that your iPhone's auto-brightness feature is now active. You shouldn't have to change your screen's display brightness from now on.
