This wikiHow teaches you how to prevent your iPhone's display from automatically going to its lock screen.
Open your iPhone's Settings. It's an app icon that is gray, contains an image of cogs, and is usually found on one of your home screens. If you can't find it on your home screen, it may be located in a folder labeled Utilities.
Tap Display & Brightness. It’s in the third section of the Settings menu (below "General").
Tap Auto-Lock. It’s the third selection in the menu.
Tap Never. It’s at the bottom of the menu. Your iPhone’s display will no longer lock automatically.
