Baby oil
Baby oil effectively clears away leftover wax. Soak the end of a cotton pad with baby oil and place it directly on top of your waxy skin. Hold it in place for up to 40 seconds, and then try wiping away the wax.
Hot water compress
Hot water helps get rid of the excess Veet wax. Soak a clean rag in hot (but not scalding) water. Drape the warm, wet cloth over your waxy skin and let it sit for a minute or so. The warmth of the water should make it super easy to rub away the wax without any extra fuss.
Petroleum jelly
Rub a thick layer of petroleum jelly over the extra wax to clear it away. Let the jelly sit for at least 4 minutes. Then, rub away the product with a clean cotton ball or cotton pad. This little wipe-down should get rid of any pesky wax residue.
Ice
Ice dries out the wax and makes it easier to remove. Cover the ice cube in a clean rag and press it over the wax for 30 seconds or so. Then, try peeling off the wax in small bits. Never touch your skin with plain ice, or else you might get an ice burn.
Water
Use water to clear away any leftover Veet Sugar Wax. Dip your hands or a washrag in some clean water. Then, rub all over the waxy skin with your wet hand or wet rag to get rid of the residue.
Perfect Finish wipe
Wipe off any extra product from Veet Wax Strip Kits with a Perfect Finish wipe. Veet Wax Strip Kits come with Perfect Finish wipes, which are designed to clear away any leftover residue. Just remove the wipe from its packet and rub it over any sticky, wax-covered sections of skin. Veet Perfect Finish wipes are made with mineral oil, which works really well to clear away wax.
