Steps

To download the game for absolutely no cost at all, go to http://www.wolfquest.org/index.php . Please note that now there are versions of this game that cost money.

Click the download now button in the center screen to get started.

The computer will lead you to installing the game until it is finished installing.

When it has finished installing, click the icon and start a new game.

Click "Single Player". Multiplayer can be only used when you have registered to the forum on the WolfQuest website.

Create your wolf. Notice that you have to balance it out. A larger and stronger wolf will have lower speed and stamina. The size doesn't really matter, so you can be faster and have higher stamina if you do that. But, your wolf might be less strong and deal less damage. *There are many more mixes you can do, though!

Find a mate. In order to do this, you must have 800 points or more. To get points, you can fight animals and either eat them or fend them off. Every time you fight them and you chase them or kill them, there will be a +__. That is how much points you get. You are able to check your pack stats by pressing the ESC key on your keyboard and clicking 'Pack Stats'. After that, you will have to go find a suitable mate. To do that, you can go into stranger wolf territories and look for yellow dots in scent view. If the first one or two doesn't fit you, don't worry. There are plenty of wolves in the forest.

At Slough Creek, you can find a den and raise pups. Read the descriptions when you get close to a den so you can find the one that fits you best. During that time, you will defend your pups and hunt more often. Your mate will not be very smart sometimes, so you must hunt more often. Don't be surprised if you mate runs off, he/she will come back. Usually with food for your pups. Remember that predators can eat your pups, so watch out! After your pups have reached the right size, you will have to journey to the rendezvous site.

When you have completed the game, start a new one! Press ESC, save the game if you are not finished with your current save data and then go to the main menu. Press "New Game" and create a new wolf. Now you start over all from the beginning again! You can make the wolf's puppies as adults now!

What's your reaction?
