- On most top-loading and front-loading washing machines, you'll find the model number on a sticker inside the door.
- On some washing machines, you'll need to look on the side or the back of the unit to find the sticker.
- If you have a stacked washer/dryer combo, the model and serial number sticker may be inside the dryer door.
GE
Top-loading GE washing machines. If you have a top-loading washer, you'll find the model number tag and serial number in one of the following locations: Under the lid near the rightmost hinge. On the back of the washer's control panel. At the bottom-left corner of the unit. On the back of the washer near the water inlet.
Front-loading GE washing machines. If your GE washer has its door on the front of the unit, check these two locations for the model/serial number tag: Inside the door panel, right on the face of the wash compartment. At the bottom-right side of the unit.
LG
Top-loading LG washing machines. If your LG washing machine's door is on the top of the unit, your model and serial number can be found in one of these places: On the reader panel of the unit near the top. Under the lid—lift the lid and look for a silver sticker near its bottom-right corner. On the left side of the washing machine.
Front-loading LG washing machines. If your LG washer has a door that opens from the front, you'll find the model and serial numbers behind the door on the front panel. Just open the door and locate the model number plate at the top-right corner of the panel facing outward.
Sidekick models. If you have an LG Sidekick, pull the drawer out fully. Once extended, you'll see the sticker on the drawer's top-left, left, or right side.
Bosch
You'll find your Bosch washing machine's model number in one of two places. Whether you have a Bosch washer or washer-dryer combo, inspect these locations for your model number and serial number: On the inner rim of the door—only visible when the door is open. If it's not there, check the back of your Bosch washer. If you have a washer-dryer combo, you may find the model number behind the dryer's filter door.
Maytag
Top-loading Maytag washing machines. If your Maytag washer has a door on the top of the unit, your model number can be found in one of three places: On the back of the washing machine's control panel, near the top of the unit. Inside the washing machine's lid at the bottom-right corner. On the back-left side of the base frame.
Washer-dryer combos. If your Maytag washer and dryer are one single unit, you can find the model number in one of these locations: On the front of the cabinet, typically above the dryer door. Inside the dryer door on the left rear corner. Inside the dryer door in the right rear corner.
Kenmore
Top-loading Kenmore washing machines. On a Kenmore model top-loading washer, you'll find the model number and serial number in one of these locations: On top of the control panel. Under the lid. On the back of the unit. At the rear of the tub's right side. Near the bottom of the washer on the front or side.
Front-loading Kenmore washing machines. If your Kenmore washer's door is on the front of the unit, you'll find the model number in one of these locations: At the back of the unit near the top. On the inside of the door frame—the part that's visible when you open the door. Inside the door itself, usually above or below the glass. On the front or side of the unit. If you have a Kenmore washer-dryer combo, also look at the dryer door frame, on the inside of the dryer door, and on the front of the unit near the top or bottom.
Whirlpool
Open the door of your Whirlpool washing machine to find the model number. Once the door is open, you will find a sticker containing the model and serial number on the inside of the rim.
Samsung
Top-loading Samsung washing machines. If the door is on the top of your washing machine, the model number and serial number can be found on the rear of the machine, near the top-center area of the unit.
Front-loading Samsung washing machines. If your Samsung washing machine's door is on the front of the unit, open the door of the unit—you'll find the model and serial number on a sticker inside the door's inner rim near the bottom.
Frigidaire
Open the door and inspect the inner rim for the model number. Whether you have a top-loading or front-loading Frigidaire washing machine, the model number tag will typically be near the door, and only visible when the door is open. It may be on the inside of the door or on the rim behind or under the door.
Miele
Open the door of your Miele washing machine to find the model number. On Miele washers and washer-dryer combos, you'll find the model and serial number sticker on the door's inner panel, just above the glass.
Speed Queen
The location of your Speed Queen washer's model number varies by model. Inside the door's inner rim, on both top-loading and front-loading Speed Queen washing machines. On the rear of the washing machine, either on the back of the top control panel or near the bottom of the unit. On the side of your washing machine.
