- Use Creative Commons Videos to avoid copyright issues or illegal reposting of a video.
- Search in the search bar for videos that you want.
- Click the filter icon and select "Creative Commons" so all your search results are videos tagged as Creative Commons.
Open YouTube.
Open the YouTube mobile app or visit https://www.youtube.com. You can search for Creative Common videos on your computer, phone, or tablet.
Search for a video.
You'll need to enter some search terms to display Creative Commons videos. For example, if you want to find Creative Commons videos with dogs, you could search for dogs here. Initially, your results will include all videos that match your search terms, including those which aren't Creative Commons.
Choose the Filter option.
The steps to filter search results are a little different depending on your device. On a computer, click FILTERS at the top-left corner of your search results. On an Android, iPhone, or iPad, tap the three dots at the top-right and select Search filters.
Select the "Creative Commons" filter.
Click or tap Creative Commons to display only Creative Commons videos. Now you can use these videos in your own videos or projects without worrying about copyright violations.
