Milan: Inter have been hit with a number of fines and bans in the wake of the events during their 3-0 Serie A loss at home against Napoli last Saturday.
Italian football's governing body, Lega Serie A, has announced that head coach Claudio Ranieri has been handed a one-match ban for insulting the referee at half-time, while midfielder Joel Obi was served a one-match suspension for his dismissal in the closing stages in the first half.
Additionally, Inter, as a club, were given an 8,000 euros fine for the behaviour of their fans during the game, while Javier Zanetti, as the club's captain, was fined 1,500 euros for the events that took place at Giuseppe Meazza.
Finally, both Diego Milito and Ivan Cordoba were handed 10,000 euros fines for their disrespectful comments toward the official after the final whistle.
Inter have collected only four points from their opening five games and have dropped to 17th spot in the table.
