London: Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson is set to complete his switch to Liverpool, after the two clubs reportedly agreed on a 20 million pound fee for his transfer.
The move is thought to be likely to be completed on Wednesday subject to a medical, before the youngster travels with the England Under-21 squad to Denmark for the European Championship tournament.
The deal would also see Liverpool striker David Ngog move to the Stadium of Light, according to the Press Association.
Henderson had been heavily linked with a move to Merseyside in recent weeks, with the Black Cats having previously been reported to have rejected bids from the Reds.
The 20-year-old put in strong performances for Steve Bruce's side and earned his first call up to the England senior team in their friendly with France in November.
The fee for the midfielder together with the sale of Darren Bent is likely to leave Bruce a large transfer kitty this summer, with Manchester United pair Darron Gibson and Wes Brown said to be on their list.
