Lionel Messi opened the scoring with a curling free kick in the 39th and set up Ivan Rakitic's powerful strike from outside the area in the 62nd, But Deportivo rallied late as striker Lucas Perez scored in the 77th and set up the equalizer by Alex Bergantinos after a counterattack in the 86th to shock the crowd at the Camp Nou.
The result extended Barcelona's winless streak to three matches, and could allow rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid to cut into its lead atop the standings after the 15th round.
Both Madrid teams play their matches on Sunday.
