Mumbai City FC are expected to ring in the changes as they seek to open their account against Kerala Blasters in a second round game of Indian Super League.

Kerala Blasters FC and Mumbai City FC play out goalless draw at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi

80 mins: Ishfaq Ahmed is through one on one against Pavel Cmovs. He went for the shot but Pavel Cmovs got his block in. He has really been the backbone of the Mumbai City FC defence.

72 mins: Gabriel goes down on the byline for no apparent reason and stays down for some time. The referee asks him to get his tretament on the other side of the line so that play can continue. In the end he has to get stretchered out but comes in just moments later looking perfectly fit and fine. Looks like Mumbai are playing for the draw.

69 mins: Darren O'Dea goes in hard for the ball from behind but he catches the back of the head of Rahul Bheke. Both players go down clutching their heads.

63 mins: Ashutosh comes on to replace Aitor on the right side of the defence. His pace and pin point crosses will surely add an attacking impetus to the team.

55 mins: Frantz Bertin goes in with a high boot which catches Chris Dagnall on the face. The forward immidiately goes down clutching his face. The referee brandishes his card for the first time.

50 mins: Rahul Bheke gets sandwiched between two Mumbai players and he eventually brings Darren O'Dea down as they tussed for the ball. The referee says its a foul, much to the dismay of the Kerala wingback.

The second half kicks off.

The managers will want to change things as at the moment a goal seems to be highly unlikely with both teams cancelling each other out. The only time Kerala looked threatening was when Rahul Bheke was lining up for his long throw ins. Mumbai have been the more attacking side especially with Sony Norde attacking from the left. He has managed to get past the defenders with ease but is not finishing it up by getting his shot through. Lots and lots to look forward to in the second half, lets find out what happens.

ISL 2015, Match 8: The first half between Kerala Blasters FC and Mumbai City FC goes goalless.

Two minutes added before half-time.

39 mins: CK Vineeth goes for the spectacular as the ball is headed into his direction. He went for the scirrors kick but the shot was off target. That would have been the goal of the season had it gone in.

33 mins: Kerala Blasters FC are now having more of the possession and have been doing most of the attacking after their slow start. They have nothing to show for it yet and the crowd seems to be getting restless.

20 mins: Mumbai City FC have started off brightly and have managed to push the Kerala defence behind. They are not allowing the Kerala wingbacks to stretch their legs. It's been all Mumbai so far.

16 mins: Gurwinder lunges into Sony Norde and takes the Haitian down with his mistimed sliding tackle. The resulting freekick is swung in by Sony Norde towards the nearpost where Subhash guides it into the hands of the keeper.

10 mins: Gabriel blasts his shot over the post from the right. He connected sweetly but it was always sailing over. Good start by the visitors though, they have managed to silence the crowd with a flurry of attacks.

7 mins: Sony Norde is creating problems on the left! He brings the ball down with his chest and makes his way into the box before cutting the ball into the middle. It is cleared away by Peter Ramage.

Its kick-off time in Kochi. Kerala Blasters FC have won the toss and the skipper Peter Ramage selects the side. His team will be attacking from left to right.

The match will kick-off in next five minutes. Stay tuned for our live updates.

6:40pm: Mumbai have benched Ashutosh and Frederic Piquionne. The former provided the assist for the goal scored by Piquionne. Peter Taylor has changed from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-4-2 formation. Subhash and Norde will be partnering up front and their pace will surely cause problems for the three men defence of Kerala Blasters.

6:30pm: As expected, the home team will be playing with a 5-3-2 formation. This has certainly helped them defensively but the wingbacks will have to make the marauding runs to support the attack.

Mumbai City FC Starting XI

Debjit Majumder (GK), Aitor, Pavel Cmovs, Frantz Bertin (C), Darren O'Dea, Gabriel, Pratesh Shirodkar, Cristian Bustos, Thangjam Saran Singh, Singam Subhash, Sony Norde

6:25pm: Mumbai have not won a single match away from home and they will want to change the record sooner rather than later. However, looks like it will be another tough night for the visitors. They play at a ground where the support for the home team will do nothing in helping their cause.

Mumbai City FC are expected to ring in the changes as they seek to open their account against Kerala Blasters in a second round game of Indian Super League.

Mumbai City FC suffered a reverse at the hands of rivals FC Pune City in the opener. The 1-3 loss against Pune came as a big setback but Nicolas Anelka's side has enough quality to bounce back.

Kerala Blasters are also an attacking side and Mumbai City FC will have a tough time tackling their rivals, and the vociferous crowd. The opening game saw a crowd of 60,000 at the Nehru stadium and the second match will have similar attendance.
