JNU Admission 2024 Concludes Today, First Merit List On August 21
According to JNU, admissions to BA (Honours) in Foreign Languages, BSc in Ayurveda Biology, and COP programmes will be determined through CUET (UG) 2024.

The online applications for admission to various undergraduate courses, and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes for the academic session 2024-25 at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will end today, August 12, at 11.50 PM. Students can apply for the programmes from the official JNU website — jnuee.jnu.ac.in. The tentative date for the declaration of the first merit list is August 21, 2024.

According to the e-prospectus available on the JNU website, it states that admissions to BA (Honours) in Foreign Languages, BSc in Ayurveda Biology, and COP programmes will be determined through CUET (UG) 2024.

JNU Online Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

— For B. A, B.SC programmes, candidates must have completed their class 12 examination or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 45 percent marks. The admission process for the Bachelor’s courses is primarily based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)

— For the COP courses also, candidates must have completed their class 12 examination with a minimum of 45 percent marks.

— The candidates who are applying for BA, BSc, and COP programmes will not need to undergo a viva voce examination. The admission process will be based solely on merit, determined by their performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Steps to apply for JNU Online Admission 2024

Step 1: Visit the official website — jnuee.jnu.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the application link and log in using the NTA Application Number and Date of Birth as the User ID and Password, respectively.

Step 3: Fill the form with the necessary documents and information.

Step 4: If all the information is correct then submit the form.

Step 5: Download the form and take a printout of it for future reference.

JNU Online Admission 2024: Application fee

While filling out the application form, students will need to pay the fee along with it. The application fee for undergraduate courses is Rs 268. Whereas for the Certificate of Proficiency courses, it is Rs 219.
