It is often observed that most of the students have a desire to become an Air Force officer. But to become an officer in the Indian Air Force, one has to clear the CDS exam conducted by the UPSC. Also, one has to clear the AFCAT exam conducted by the Air Force. For this, the youth work very hard. There is one such person who became an Air Force officer after completing his B.Tech from Shimla’s University Institute of Technology, Himachal Pradesh.
Anubhav Parmar secured the second rank in the AFCAT. He hails from Kuneran village in the Gagret sub-division of Una district in Himachal Pradesh. Anubhav, who became a flying officer in the Air Force, completed his B.Tech in Information Technology from Himachal Pradesh University Institute of Technology, Shimla.
After this, he appeared in the Air Force Joint Entrance Examination in 2022 and stood second in the country. After being selected for AFCAT, he underwent 6 months of training at the Indian Air Force Academy Dundigal in Hyderabad. After this, he underwent a year of technical training at the Air Force Technical College, Bengaluru. Anubhav Parmar is the first Air Force officer from his region to graduate from the Indian Air Force Academy.
After being selected in the AFCAT, one gets training at this college. The graduation ceremony was held a few days ago at the Indian Air Force Technical College, Bangalore. In this ceremony, Anubhav was formally inducted into the Indian Air Force. His father Vinod Parmar, mother Sunita Parmar and sister Sakshi Parmar attended the graduation ceremony.
Flying Officer Anubhav Parmar’s parents put stars on his shoulders. Anubhav’s father, Vinod Parmar, served in the Army’s Signal Corps. His father is working in the Finance Ministry after his retirement. Mother Sunita is a homemaker. Anubhav is the third generation of his family to serve in the Army.
