Boys achieved a pass percentage of 84.45 while girls stood at 81.4 per cent. Over 16,000 candidates appeared in the exam. The Siwan district of Bihar is one of the most happy places in the state after BSEB announced the results of Intermediate and Class 10.

After producing toppers in the intermediate exams, the students of the matric class continued their legacy by achieving top positions in the matric exam. Anuj Kumar, the son of a sweet shop owner, has become the Siwan district topper by securing 472 marks in Class 10 exams 2024.

Anuj Kumar, son of Balindra Kumar, resident of Goriakothi of Maharajganj sub-division area of Siwan district, has become the district topper. After checking the results, the family of the student were on cloud nine. The family members celebrated their son’s success with sweets and garlands. Relatives and neighbours started congratulating Anuj Kumar for his achievement. Anuj’s father Balindra Kumar runs a sweet shop on the side of the footpath in Maharajganj. The family earns its livelihood from this shop only.

While talking to Local18, Anuj Kumar said that he never joined any coaching institute and used to do self-study for 4-5 hours every morning and evening. He believes that it has played a great role in achieving success in the exam. Anuj’s dream is to become an IAS officer. However, his next goal is to become the intermediate topper of Bihar.

Anuj Kumar said that just as Mrityunjay Kumar became a science topper here, he also wants to become a science topper. Mritunjay Kumar achieved 481 marks out of 500 to achieve first rank in Bihar’s Class 12 exams. District topper Anuj Kumar also runs a cyber café along with his studies due to the weak financial condition of the family. Despite running a cyber café, he became the district topper by scoring 472 marks. It is inspiring for other students of Siwan and Bihar too.
