Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently channelled his inner photographer during a club training session. The former IPL champions are currently preparing to take on the Punjab Kings in their penultimate group game of the tournament. During the team’s training session, Chahal got hold of a camera after which he couldn’t help but click some snaps of his teammates as they prepared for the upcoming clash.
The franchise shared a hilarious video of the India spinner chasing his teammates to get the photographs. Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma has also responded to the Instagram post. She wrote, “Trained by the best.”

The post shared by Rajasthan Royals was accompanied by a hilarious caption reading, “That one friend in every group”. The video begins with Chahal pointing the camera towards Rajasthan Royals batter Riyan Parag. He could be heard hurling some funny words at Riyan who doesn’t seem to pay attention initially. Chahal then screamed the batter’s name, resulting in Riyan turning around and posing for the camera. He next snapped a picture of England batter Tom Kohler-Cadmore who commended the spinner on his convincing photography skills. Chahal finally clicked a few pictures of his coaches before going for a snapshot of the moon.

The hilarious video has garnered a ton of attention on social media. Several fans have responded to the clip, discussing Chahal’s future in photography. One fan highlighted that Chahal is a jack of many trades by saying, “Bowler, opening batter in place of Buttler, the photographer, memer, Instagrammer, reporter etc.”

Another fan stated that the veteran spinner was one of the pillars behind the team’s happiness. “Yuzi Chahal is also a reason of happiness of team”.
In one reply, a user suggested that the bromance between Chahal and England batter Jos Buttler was missing. “Chahal and Butler bonding is missing now”, he wrote.

Chahal has been in top form with the Rajasthan Royals this season. The bowler has represented the 2008 IPL winners in 12 games in 2024. He has taken 15 wickets for the franchise at an economy of 9.52. His stellar performances in the Pink jersey also earned him a place in India’s official squad for the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup. The spinner will now be eyeing an IPL crown before competing in the United States and the West Indies for international glory.
