WATCH: Sachin Tendulkar All Smiles After Watching Sopore Girl Smashing Bowlers All Around

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is one of the most active public figures on social media, sharing interesting videos and photos. On Saturday, he expressed his thoughts on a girl from Jammu & Kashmir’s Sopore, playing cricket with boys and smashing the bowlers all around.

Tendulkar reacted to a video shared by an online infotainment portal which goes by the name, kupwaratimes.com. As per the X post, the girl is Hurmat Irhsad Bhat, a native of Sopore. “Brilliant shots Played by Hurmat Irshad Bhat a little girl from #Sopore Kashmir J&K India,” the post read.

Reacting to it, Tendulkar expressed, “Always good to see young girls playing cricket. Watching videos like these brings a smile to my face.”

Tendulkar recently returned from a family trip to Jammu & Kashmiri where he spent a great time interacting with the locals and playing some cricket on the streets of Gulmarg. He also visited the Aman Setu Bridge, which marks the final frontier on the Line of Control (LOC) in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. He spent some time there and interacted with the army personnel guarding the Kaman Post, which is the closest to Aman Setu.

Tendulkar also paid a visit to a local bat factory – MJ Sports Bat Factory, which is popular for producing Kashmiri willow and other traditional cricketing equipment. The legendary Indian batter also met Amir Lone, who had previously caught the attention of Tendulkar with a clip of the batter training in Kashmir.

The two exchanged candid conversation as the Kashmir batter could not contain his excitement and joy in having met his role model. Tendulkar hailed Amir as well, calling him as a true inspiration for the children of this generation, for his sheer will, grit and passion that has catapulted him to become the player he is today.
