England skipper Jos Buttler was on-fire as he took a fine catch and enforced an even better run-out against South Africa.

England’s Jos Buttler was in top form on the field against South Africa during their clash in the T20 World Cup Super 8 game that took place in St Lucia on Friday. He took a fine catch from behind the stumps to get rid of Quinton de Kock and also delivered an even better run-out to dismiss the dangerous Heinrich Klaasen to put the defending champions back in the game.

Opening the batting for South Africa, Quinton de Kock looked to carry his form from the previous game as he struck another fine half-century to help give the Proteas a quick start. However, pressure was being built from the other end as his fellow opener Reeza Hendricks looked to struggle to find the boundaries.

Despite the latter’s dismissal, Jofra Archer managed to come in and bowl a length delivery which de Kock looked to play towards the third man but found the edge as Buttler dove to his left to take a brilliant catch and get the dismissal they were looking for.

The pair of David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen posed to be England’s next big threat but Jos Buttler showcased his skill from behind the stumps. Looking to take a quick single, Klaasen was casually strolling towards the non-striker’s end but Buttler managed to take the ball and get the throw in which hit the stumps to get the wicket of Klaasen who can prove to be a big threat.

England will have to go up against the likes of USA which will be their final game of the Super 8 and they will hope to get the wins against the Proteas and the co-hosts as well.
