The company said net profit rose to Rs 13.52 crores in the fiscal second quarter as compared to 6.93 in the same period last fiscal.
Mumbai: Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd today reported a 95.09 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 13.52 crore for the quarter ended on September 30, as compared to Rs 6.93 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Its total income increased by 81.44 per cent at Rs 365.55 crore in the first quarter ended September on 30, against Rs 201.47 crore in the year-ago period, a company statement said.
Net sales from operations grew 81 per cent to Rs 364.83 crore for the first quarter in the present fiscal, from Rs 201.12 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
