Rajkummar Rao Starrer SRI Now Titled As Srikanth, Releasing In May This Year; Deets Inside

Rajkummar Rao’s much-anticipated film previously known as ‘SRI‘ has undergone a title change and will now be released as ‘Srikanth’. The film is slated for a theatrical release in May this year. T-Series and Chalk N Cheese Films announce that their highly anticipated film ‘Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne’ is all set to release on 10th May 2024 on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.

T-series took to its social media and shared the post reading “A remarkable journey that will open your eyes! #Srikanth, earlier titled SRI, releasing on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 10th May 2024.” Earlier, the film was releasing on May 17. Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne the film takes audiences through the exciting and inspiring journey of Srikanth Bolla. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani and featuring a stellar cast including Jyotika , Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar.

The film narrates the remarkable life of Srikanth Bolla, an industrialist who fearlessly pursued his dreams despite visual impairment, eventually founding Bollant Industries.

In an exclusive chat with News18, Alaya stated that she is elated to work and share screen space with Rajkummar – who plays the titular character in the film – for the first time. Speaking about it, she said, “The shoot is going really well. I shot for only a few days in December and resumed it in January this year. Whatever I’ve shot for so far has been a wonderful experience. The team is lovely. Raj is just incredible.”

Apart from this, Rao will also be seen in Stree 2, Mr and Mrs Mahi, Guns and Gulaabs Season 2 and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video for which tha actor will be seen alongside Triptii Dimri is busy shooting in Rishikesh for the same. This movie will take us back to the Mystical Age of 90’s. It is an illustration of a retro recall and does promise to be an out-and-out family entertainer. The title ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ makes us ponder what the video will be all about.
