Director Ali Abbas Zafar is currently enjoying fans’ great responses to the official trailer of his upcoming action thriller film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (BMCM). Several B-town celebs including Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani showered praises on the trailer and wished the team Bade Miyan Chote Miyan good luck. Ali and Katrina are among the most loved director-actor duo in the Hindi film industry and have earlier worked together in several big projects like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat. And now after many years it seems like the duo is all set to join forces again for another big project.
Ali gave a hint of his next collaboration with Katrina by expressing gratitude to the actor for her appreciation of the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan trailer. On Tuesday, Katrina gave a shout-out to team BMCM and wished them all the best. She shared the trailer on her Instagram stories and captioned it, “Buddyyyyyyyyy ali Abbas zafar …..looking amazing ..this EID will be (fire emojis) … So proud of you…… looks EPIC… Akshayyyyyyyyy is on fire ….akshay kumar Fab tiger Jackie shroff.”
Replying to Katrina’s story Ali wrote, “Thank you Katrina kaif missed you on BMCM please ke(ep) your dates free for next one.”
The message indicates that the director-actor duo will be soon collaborating for another big project in the near future. However, the deets about the project are yet to be revealed. Earlier, several rumours stated that Katrina and Ali will be collaborating for a female superhero film but no official announcement regarding that project was made.
Katrina earlier told Pinkvilla, “Ali is a great friend and we discuss many new ideas. He has such a bright mind and is always thinking. The wheels in his mind are always turning. There are a few things we have always discussed and of course, Adi (Aditya Chopra) and I have also discussed many things. Everything has to align and it will happen.”
Talking about Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chillar, Alaya F and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles and is all set to hit the theatres on April 10. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will be facing a big Bollywood clash with Ajay Devgn’s period sports drama film Maidaan.
Katrina, on the other hand, was last seen in the thriller film Merry Christmas. She will be next seen in director Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa.
