Alia Bhatt recently sang the Ikk Kudi song live at the Hope Gala in London. Alia Bhatt hosted the Hope Gala in London on Thursday evening to raise funds for underprivileged adolescents in India through the Salaam Bombay Foundation. The event was attended by musician Harshdeep Kaur, comedian Rohan Joshi and director Gurinder Chadha, among others.
While Harshdeep Kaur was performing the song, she approached Alia’s table and urged her to sing a few lines. Alia obliged and sang live at the venue. The Ikk Kudi was originally sung by Diljit Dosanjh and a reprised version was sung by Diljit and Alia for the film Udta Punjab.

Meanwhile, the gala saw Alia backing the Salaam Bombay charity, which focuses on helping Mumbai’s most vulnerable children through in-school programs for leadership and advocacy, as well as after-school academies for skill-building. These initiatives aim to boost their confidence and self-esteem and encourage them to stay in school.
On the work front, the actress has just finished shooting her upcoming film, Jigra, in which she stars alongside Vedang Raina. This movie is co-produced by her production house with Karan Johar and directed by Vasan Bala. Additionally, she has recently signed on for another project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, titled Love and War, in which she will be working again with her Gangubai Kathiawadi director for the second time. This film also stars Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor.
Alia Bhatt also has a spy film with Yash Raj Films in the pipeline. Sharvari Wagh is also said to be in the film, which will be directed by Shiv Rawail. As per the latest reports, Bobby Deol will play the villain in the film.
