Volkswagen India is all set to launch the Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition on the 2nd of November.
However, ahead of the official launch details of this special edition have been leaked online. It further give us information on what the vehicle will look like.
In terms of design, it boasts a set of functional roof bars, a ‘Trail’ badge on the tailgate, and eye-catching decals on the rear fenders. Furthermore, the 17-inch wheels are sleekly painted in bold black, and the brake callipers pop with a fiery red hue. Volkswagen is offering this limited edition Taigun in two striking color options – Deep Black Pearl and Carbon Steel Grey Matte.
The cabin of the Taigun Trail Edition boasts of luxury. It comes equipped with an array of features like plush black leatherette seats adorned with striking Wild Cherry Red stitching, along with tasteful ‘Trail’ motifs. Adding to the overall elegance are the aluminum pedals and vibrant red ambient lights, creating an atmosphere that’s both sporty and refined.
Under the hood, the Taigun Trail Edition is a powerhouse. Based on the top-spec trims, it’s equipped with Volkswagen’s robust 1.5-litre petrol engine, finely tuned to churn out an impressive 148 bhp and a formidable 250 Nm of torque. You’ll have the choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing you to tailor your driving experience to your preferences.
