Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has launched the new Honda Brio, which gets exterior design and interior updates.
The Brio now sports a high-gloss black and chrome finished front grille and a new Front Bumper. At the rear, the Brio gets a new tail lamp and an all new tailgate spoiler with LED high mount stop lamp, giving it a sporty appeal.
On the inside, the Brio features a new instrument panel with carbon finish & silver accents with integrated air vents. The newly designed triple analog sporty meter with white illumination make the car feel premium.
The updated Brio has got additions of new features as well, which include an advanced 2 DIN integrated audio (USB and Aux-in) with Bluetooth connectivity and telephony function and Digital AC controls with max cool function.
The Brio is now available in beige interiors, whereas the top variant will come with all-black interiors.
Talking about the Introduction of the new Honda Brio, Yoichiro Ueno, President & CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd said, “Brio has the distinction of being the Industry Topper in Quality scoring No1 position in the J D Power IQS results, year after year. launched in 2011, Honda Brio is a loved car for more than 87,000 happy Indian families and with the new Brio, we expect to strike a new chord with the young and vivacious Indians,” he added.
The new Brio will be available in 5 colours – Taffeta White, Alabaster Sliver, Urban Titanium, Rally Red and White Orchid Pearl.
Honda Brio comes with a 4-cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that delivers a maximum output of 86.7 horsepower at 6000 RPM and 109 Nm torque at 4500 RPM. Transmission duties will be handled by a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic transmission giving a claimed fuel economy of 18.5 km/l and 16.5 km/l respectively, depending on the variant you choose.
The Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure of the Brio is claimed to enhance self-protection while mitigating damage to other vehicles in the event of a collision. The Brio features safety technologies like the Dual SRS airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), seat belt pretensioner with load limiters and impact mitigating headrests. The front body structure of the Brio is equipped with Pedestrian Injury Mitigation Technology designed to absorb impact energy.
The Honda Brio comes with the standard 2 years/40,000 km warranty.

E MT – Rs 4.69 lakh
S MT – Rs 5.2 lakh
VX MT – Rs 5.95 lakh
VX AT – Rs 6.81 lakh
