One of the hot-selling products Kia Seltos has been recalled by the company in India. It has been reported that over 4,358 units, which are equipped with CVT transmission were part of the recall over over electronic oil pump controller issue.
It has been informed that the problem was seen in the models, which were manufactured between February 28 – July 13, last year. The company has initiated the recall drive, where it will be reaching out to the customers to solve the problem free of cost. It will also replace the faulty part, which is affecting the SUVs’ overall performance without any charge.
2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Price
Meanwhile, the compact SUV has received a facelift update last year in July. Since then, the updated avatar attracted a lot of customers, a big thanks to its aggressive styling and improved cosmetic changes. It was released in the Indian market at the starting price of Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top model goes up to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine and Features
The compact SUV is available in multiple engine options. The list includes a trust a 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre turbo and 1.5-litre diesel engines. To make it safer and better, the company has also installed a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), featuring 17 robust autonomous features.
Safety
The vehicle now gets advanced advanced Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control mode, and Lane Keep Assist, among others. It also has 15 safety features as standard that include 6 airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), a parking sensor at both ends with dynamic guidelines, HAC (Hill-Start Assist Control), Vehicle Stability Management, and whatnot.
