Video Of Dads Dancing With Their Little Girls On Annual Day Is Too Precious

An adorable video that shows a father-daughter group dance is trending. The father-daughter pairs dance to the Bollywood song Main Agar Kahoon from the 2006 film Om Shanti Om caught the attention of the social media users. The video, which appears to be taken at a school’s annual day function, shows a group of men doing a simple ball dance routine with their young daughters. This clip was shared online by an Instagram user named Anuja Sameer Paranjape, who captured her husband and daughter in the video. While sharing the clip, she wrote, “Sameer is someone whom I always say has got two left feet but this came as a complete surprise to us."

This clip has already gathered over 10 lakh likes since it was posted on January 24. One of the most liked comments on this video read, “The feminine urge to see my daughter dancing like this with her father." Another much-liked comment said, “The masculine urge to perform like this with my daughter." “Can’t wait to see my daughter with his father dancing like this," wrote a user. Many people described the video as “sweet and heartwarming." Instagram users also praised the school for organising this dance that involved fathers and daughters in such a wholesome manner.

In October 2023, another father-daughter dance video went viral. This video was taken at a wedding reception. The bride Riannon Trutanich VanSciver and her father Andrew Trutanich recreated a video from Riannon’s childhood as the duo danced to Disney’s Beauty and the Beast song from the 1991 animated movie of the same name. As they danced, a home video from 27 years ago played in the background. This video showed the duo doing the same dance in their living room when Riannon was a little girl.

While speaking to Good Morning America, Riannon said it was her mother’s idea to re-create the dance at the wedding reception. Recalling the moment when she danced with her father on her wedding day, Riannon said, “I’ll never forget, he turned to me and he just looked and he said, ‘Oh boy.’ And I was very grateful to my veil because I had to take a minute when I got up there to kind of compose myself, but it was just so beautiful." Andrew Trutanich added that he teared up while recreating their childhood dance on his daughter’s wedding day. “It was awesome. There was not a dry eye in the place," he recalled.
