The 2023 edition of WWE’s Superstar Spectacle turned out to be a big success as the fans came out in huge numbers to witness the live action in India after almost 6 years. The grand show featured the likes of John Cena, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley and many other stars local and from abroad who came to Hyderabad to enthral the fans.
WWE returned to India after a span of six years as the last time they hosted a Live Event in India was way back in 2017 in Delhi. The event took place in the G.M.C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
WWE has produced various talents from India with the most famous ones being the Great Khali who has gone on to become a World Champion and has gone up against the likes of the WWE Hall of Famer, the Undertaker as well.
Another includes Jinder Mahal who competed in the card and headlined in the previous show in Delhi as well. He also has become a World Champion as well and has competed against the likes of Drew McIntyre.
There are young Indian wrestlers as well trying to make their mark within the company as well. Some of them include the tag-team duo of Indus Sher where Veer Mahan and Sangha are managed by Jinder Mahal as well.
Another up-and-coming talent is Dilsher Shanky who has been featured in the previous edition of the Superstar Spectacle back in 2021 winning the eight-man tag-team match with Rey Mysterio, Ricochet and others.
Fans witnessed John Cena teaming up with the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins as they took on Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci and ended the event on a high with a win.
Rhea Ripley successfully defended her Women’s World Championship belt against Natalya who earned the shot on title by beating Zoe Stark in the same event.
