WWE NXT Results, March 19 2024: Trick Williams Downs Noam Dar; Drew Gulak Defends Heritage Cup
The show featured a couple of first-round matches for the NXT Tag Team Championship Number One Contender’s Tournament. while fans also witnessed an NXT Heritage Cup defence from Drew Gulak. Noam Dar faced Trick Williams in one-on-one action in the main event of NXT’s latest episode.

The latest episode of WWE NXT was once again brought to the fans live from the company’s Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida. The weekly live event was aired yesterday, March 19.

The show began with some women’s action that saw Tatum Paxley take on Roxanne Perez. The night also featured a couple of first-round matches for the NXT Tag Team Championship Number One Contender’s Tournament. The fans next witnessed an NXT Heritage Cup defence from Drew Gulak. On the other hand, Noam Dar faced Trick Williams in one-on-one action in the main event of NXT’s latest episode.

Roxanne Perez vs Tatum Paxley

Perez wasted no time in going after Paxley, targeting her leg. Paxley countered with an enzuigiri before charging at Perez but she moved out of her way. Paxley next planted her but Perez managed to land the Pop Rox before locking in the cross-face for a win by submission.

Axiom and Nathan Frazer vs No Quarter Catch Crew – NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament First Round Match

Dempsey and Axiom began the action as the two locked up. Axiom tried to fly but Dempsey caught him mid-air and landed a T-Bone Suplex. Frazer and Borne tagged in next as the former delivered a double dropkick to both Borne and Dempsey. Frazer next hit a Spanish Fly to Borne before following it up with a Phoenix splash for an easy victory.

Brinley Reece vs Sol Ruca

The two wrestling divas locked up early, taking turns to put each other in submission holds. Reece landed a few clotheslines on Ruca before hitting a bodyslam. Reece next sent Ruca crashing into the corner before running straight at her. Ruca ducked out and hit Sol Snatcher to pick up the win via pinfall.

Drew Gulak (c) vs Riley Osborne – NXT Heritage Cup

The match began with Riley Osborne taking up the first round via a moonsault. Round two of the match saw Gulak lock Osborne in a sleeper hold. In the final round, Nyx interfered in the match as he tripped Osborne during his attempt to hit a superplex. Gulak took advantage and pinned his opponent to retain the Heritage Cup.

Good Brothers vs Hank Walker and Tank Ledger – NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament First-Round Match

The match began in complete chaos as all four superstars brawled with each other. Soon, Anderson and Walker found themselves legal as the former locked a submission hold onto his opponent. Walker then made a tag to Ledger as the duo combined for a shoulder tackle to take out Anderson. However, Ledger soon took a spinebuster from Anderson who made a tag to Gallows as they landed the Magic Killer for a victory.

Noam Dar vs Trick Williams

The main event of the night saw Dar fire stomps on Williams who countered with a uranage and a back heel. He followed it up with a flapjack. The match saw interference from Oro Mensah and Lash Legend. This allowed Dar to take advantage and land a suplex. Williams kicked out before counterting into the Trick Shot Jump Knee for a win.
