WWE came up with an action-packed NXT show held at the WWE Performance Center in Florida. WWE fans witnessed a battle for the North American Championship as Dragon Lee defended his title against Tyler Bate. Blair Davenport had a memorable night as she won her fight in the latest episode of the WWE NXT. The December 12 episode of the WWE NXT also comprised a rematch between Dijak and Eddy Thorpe. Viewers also got a chance to see Meta-Four taking on the triumvirate of Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley. Cora Jade made her much-awaited return on this week’s episode of WWE NXT. The latest show of WWE NXT kicked off with a segment featuring Jade.
Meta-Four vs Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley
In the opening battle of the night, Meta-Four took on Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley in a six-person mixed tag team match. The opening fight turned out to be quite intriguing and succeeded in impressing the audience. It was Briggs who ended up hogging the limelight having delivered a Clothesline to earn a win for his side.
Oba Femi vs Myles Borne
Oba Femi and Myles Borne faced each other in a first-round battle in the 2023 Men’s Breakout Tournament. Borne did try to put up some fight but his attempts ultimately proved to be futile. Femi pulled off a pop-up powerbomb to emerge victorious against Borne.
Dragon Lee vs Tyler Bate
The North American Championship was put on line as Dragon Lee defended his title against Tyler Bate. The fight took place after Bate answered Lee’s open challenge for the North American Championship. The championship bout was exciting and managed to do an impressive job of enthralling the crowd. Bate did put up a strong fight but it was Lee who pulled off an Operation Dragon to successfully defend his title.
Dijak vs Eddy Thorpe
Dijak and Eddy Thorpe started battling even before their match officially started and their fight went on even after the game came to an end. Thorpe won the match via Disqualification.
Riley Osbourne vs Keanu Carver
Riley Osbourne and Keanu Carver faced each other in a first-round match in the 2023 Men’s Breakout Tournament. Osbourne beat Carver by a pinfall to reach the Men’s Breakout Tournament.
Lyra Valkyria and Nikkita Lyons vs Cora Jade and Blair Davenport
The tag-team fight between Lyra Valkyria, Nikkita Lyons and Cora Jade, Blair Davenport turned out to be quite interesting and all the fighters showcased some of their best skills last night. Jade and Davenport displayed some intelligent moves to emerge victorious in the latest episode of WWE NXT.
