Woman Shares How Her Cook Unknowingly Exposed An Extra-marital Affair
The cook seems to be in the good books of both as he continues to work for them.

Social media is one fun place. From cute animal videos to bizarre trends, you can’t have a dull moment. Now, we have come across a post shared by a woman on X (formerly Twitter). The user, Dr. Falak Joshipura, has shared an ‘amusing’ story (not our words.) She wrote, “Today, my cook narrated how he unknowingly busted an extra-marital affair of a man he used to work for and I was shocked! So apparently, the wife went to her home for a few days. 2 days later her husband’s sister came to visit him.” The woman added that one day the wife, who was still at her maternal home,  “called the cook randomly to inquire about what he had prepared”. The cook mentioned, “Dono ko aaj pasta Khana tha to bana diya (Both wanted to eat pasta today, so I made it.)”

The cook was under the impression that the wife must be aware of her sister-in-law’s visit, but turns out that the husband had no sisters. The next day, the wife caught her husband red-handed with the woman. The cook witnessed the whole confrontation.

Joshipura quipped, “Had the guy told my cook about his alleged girlfriend, this might not have happened.” This post has gathered hundreds of likes and over 2 lakh views. In another post, Joshipura added that the couple is now divorced.

The cook seems to be in the good books of both as he continues to work for them.

In the comments, many people highlighted how this situation worked out the best for the cook as he now gets to work at two places at once, despite exposing an extramarital affair that resulted in a divorce. Echoing this view, an X user wrote, “Win for the cook. Income from two different homes while serving the same number of people. She should write about – How to double your income as a cook.”

An X user referred to the 2005 comedy film Garam Masala and shared a photo of “Mambo Rana”, a cook played by Paresh Rawal who keeps secrets about the protagonist’s multiple affairs. While sharing this photo, the X user joked, “They need a better cook.”

Another person commented, “Moral of the story: Don’t hide anything from your doctors, lawyers and house helps.” “People who cook or help around the house often have interesting stories. My cook knows more about the neighborhood than we do,” wrote another.
