It was reported that the tiger was surprised to see the figure of its own species on the sign board of the safari route.

The holiday season has commenced. Many people are taking vacations with their friends and families. People have planned trips to exotic places, away from their homes, to spend Christmas and New Year together. People have been going to the beaches, mountains, different cities, and more. One such place that becomes very popular during this time is the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve in Uttar Pradesh. It is a national forest that is famous for its tiger sightings, and many tourists visit it, especially during the winter seasons. Recently, a tiger was spotted by the tourists in the reserve, and what the animal did surprised all the tourists. As per reports, the animal saw a cutout of a tiger that was attached to a signboard and went on to stare at it for the next two hours.

According to reports, the video was captured by Advocate Kshitij Saxena from Lucknow, who had gone to Pilibhit Tiger Reserve with his family to spend Christmas and the New Year. During an evening safari, they saw a huge tiger that suddenly came on the road. It was reported that the tiger was surprised to see the figure of its own species on the sign board of the safari route. For a long time, the tiger sat in the middle of the road and kept looking at the sign board. It was also found that that tiger was looking at his own image for a long time, probably out of curiosity. It even sat on the road, and everyone around the wild animal observed this.

Usually, sign boards are installed on all the roads passing through the forest, including the Safari Route. This is done to warn the drivers about maintaining speed. These signboards have pictures of wild animals. A similar signboard with a photo of a tiger was installed on the safari route, which perplexed the animal. Later, the forest officials had to intervene as the tiger was not ready to leave the route.

Safaris are quite popular in the reserve and are available at different pickup points. They give an in-depth tour of the reserve, and there are chances of tiger spotting as well.
