Watch: Safari Takes Frightening Turn As Tiger Comes Close To Tourist Jeep
Many people criticised the National Park authorities for driving too close to the tiger and questioned the tourists for shouting in the jungle.

The Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur Rajasthan is known for its dense majestic tiger population. Every year thousands of tourists go on guided jungle safari across the national park to see wild animals in their natural habitat. Recently, the official Instagram account of the Ranthambore National Park posted a video that showed a tiger approaching too close to an open jeep. When the big cat came near the vehicle and began sniffing on it, a few tourists in the jeep panicked and started screaming as they loudly requested the driver to keep the jeep at a distance from the tiger.

The Ranthambore National Park shared this clip and wrote, “Watching the majestic creature so close was a lifetime experience for us. We got scared but T121 is a playful animal. He came close to us twice, showed his glory and stepped back. We will preserve this memory for the rest of our life.”

Even as this video gathered over 80,000 likes, many people criticised the Ranthambore National Park authorities for driving too close to the tiger and questioned the tourists for shouting in the jungle and not following safari etiquette. Most open jeep safaris ask the visitors not to shout at animals as it can make them defensive.

Commenting on the video, an Instagram user wrote, “These people screaming and yelling should be fined! When money goes out of the wallet, the mouth will remain shut. Before going to any safari, proper guidelines should be given to visitors. If you have never been around animals or in the wild, it is natural to scream for life when afraid but that is not fair for the animals. You enter someone’s home with your own will and decision and start yelling does not make sense!”

Another commented, “Wowwwww!!! Ranthambore wildlife. You are making a mockery out of yourself by posting such a video but glad you posted it so that sensible people can know what goes on at the National Park. Whatever is going on in the video with regards to the Humans there, how is it even allowed???? This is so disrespectful towards the animals and towards the land they call their Home. Disgusting Human Behaviour as usual by the visitors as well as the people in charge because they don’t seem to know the guidelines or seem to follow themselves or let the visitors know. Shame on you guys.”
