Adding to this trend, a remarkable four-year-old boy has captivated the internet by fluently conversing in both Korean and Malayalam. Born to a mother from Kerala and a father from South Korea, the toddler effortlessly switches between the two languages. In a viral video filmed by his mother, the boy attentively watches his father serving food and curiously asks him questions about the process. His seamless transition between Malayalam and Korean during the conversation has drawn widespread attention online.
In the video, the young boy observes his father preparing a meal and converses in Korean. Later, he switches to Malayalam while speaking to his mother, asking, “Amma, nammal octopusinde ellam thinno? (Mother, do we eat all parts of the octopus?)” He also questions whether they can consume the entire octopus, and his mother responds in Malayalam, explaining that it can be eaten after cooking. According to a report in Hindustan Times, the boy initially learned to read and speak Malayalam and became fluent by the age of two. He began learning Korean after starting daycare.
