Lions can be dangerous creatures, and most humans tend to stay away from them to avoid a faceoff. But while they are perceived as ferocious beings, sometimes they show their soft, adorable side to the world. Recently, a heartwarming scene featuring four lion cubs relaxing outside their den in the Malamala Game Reserve in South Africa was captured on camera. We bet this is the cutest thing you have seen on the Internet today.
The video, uploaded to the animal reserve’s official handle, showed the cute cubs cuddling and playing together. The short video opens with two cubs sitting on a rock outside their den. Moments later, they are joined by two more cubs. While one of them enjoyed the view outside, the other three were busy playing amongst themselves.
Netizens were quite happy to see the sight and most people reacted with hearts emojis on the post. One user stated, “Cuteness freaking overload," while another said, “That is an adorable, beautiful video."
An individual’s eyes caught on “The one just chilling on the rock," while another person stated, “They look so much alike, but each has its own distinct personality."
Some people were also worried for their safety. A person said, “Absolutely adorable…Where’s mom?? Be safe angels," while another exclaimed, “Absolutely gorgeous family, all animals deserve justice and protection from cruelty and habitat destruction."
Some time ago, another video from the same animal reserve went viral. The video depicted a wonderful reunion between a mother lion and her cubs. The footage shows the lioness leading a squad of forest rangers to her den. Following their mother’s contact calls, the cubs emerge one by one.
A guide can be heard describing how the mama lion kept screaming out to the cubs, who came out running, attempting to reply to their mother. Furthermore, the footage shows the cubs running towards their mother, looking joyful and lively as soon as they hear her voice. As soon as they arrived, the cubs started bouncing around her, purring and wagging their tails before feeding.
