He is a successful businessman with a net worth of $15.5 billion (approximately Rs 1.2 lakh crore). He is the founder of the Russian social media VK and the famous messaging application Telegram. At 39, he is unmarried, but surprisingly he is the father of 100 children. In a Telegram post, he explained how he became the father of so many children without getting married.

He wrote, “I have been told that I am the biological father of 100 children. How is this possible for someone who has never married and prefers to live alone?” He then mentioned that he is a sperm donor and has helped around 100 couples from 12 countries become parents. Pavel mentioned that he started donating sperm 15 years ago when a friend came to him with a usual request for help.

Pavel Durov elaborated that he and his wife had been trying to conceive for a long time but couldn’t due to fertility issues. The friend wanted Pavel to donate his sperm at a clinic so that the couple could have a child. Initially, the businessman thought that his friend was joking, but when he understood that he was serious about it he agreed to do the needful. Pavel then understood that this was a common problem and saw it as a social service. He mentioned that he is proud to help people around the globe.

The Russian man has reportedly stopped donating sperm, but his frozen sperm can still be used. Pavel also has a daughter and a son with one of his ex-partners. He left Russia due to some political reasons and now resides in the United Arab Emirates.
