The deceased turn to dust, leaving behind their unfulfilled desires in this world. One might wonder if, in their final moments, they wished for someone to inquire about their well-being. If the dead could speak, surely they would express such sentiments. Priya Rajput appears to have an affinity for conversing with the dead and checking on their well-being. This is why she spends not just 1-2 or 4-6 hours, but a full 24 hours in the crematorium.

Priya even conducts her work from there. She states that the crematorium is the most peaceful place in the world. She also cherishes the birds and plants that inhabit the area. She believes that with Lord Shiva by her side, there is no reason to worry.

Priya Rajput, originally from Ayodhya, lived and studied in Delhi-NCR for many years before also working there. She holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Home Science. During her time in Delhi, Priya was involved in technical work in an office. Currently, she works at the Noida crematorium, where she schedules the times for taking the deceased to their final resting place and prepares their paperwork.

While speaking to Local18, Priya Rajput addressed all the unusual questions that a common person might have about the crematorium. The first question posed to Priya was whether her work there was out of necessity or a hobby. She responded directly that it is her hobby. Priya explained that death is a fundamental truth of life, so there is no reason to fear it. She added that she greatly enjoys the greenery and birds present at the crematorium.

There is a large statue of Lord Shiva in the crematorium, along with many other deities, which greatly attracts Priya. She mentioned that there is no one above Lord Shiva, who is also the Mahakaal, the lord of time. Priya, who enjoys singing, dancing, and modelling, said, “I don’t care what the world thinks about me. All kinds of people come here. Some praise my courage, while others are surprised to see me here. I haven’t thought about marriage yet. If someone questions my job, I would say that those who question should first change their attitude and thinking. I am absolutely fine in my place.”

Priya Rajput is not only a good singer but also a talented dancer. She writes bhajans dedicated to Khatushyam. Additionally, she has a passion for modelling. She mentioned that if everything goes well, she will be seen on some platform very soon.
