These days, we need a mobile as much as we need food for survival. It has made our lives easier by a margin; we can connect to anyone we need at any time of the day. Exposing kids to the device at a young age is still a topic of huge debate. A case from the state of Haryana is making rounds on the internet, according to which a minor ran away from home because of a phone.

As per the report of Local18, the case is being reported from Ambala, Haryana. It states that a 15-year-old, a resident of Kamal Vihar, decided to leave his home just because his father scolded him for using his phone. The son got so furious at his father that he did not return for three days, reports state further. It caused the family a lot of distress.

The teenager is a student of class 10, who spent most of his time on the phone. So, when he left his house out of anger, his family tried hard to find him but were unsuccessful and could not find a clue about their son.

According to Local18, the family talked to all the relatives and searched around places like the bust stand and railway station, but could not locate him. Finally, they informed the police of the situation and they reportedly found him only in a few hours. The minor was then sent to his family. This little incident served as an important lesson to the child, because of whom the whole family had to suffer.

The Indian Express reported a similar incident recently where another 15-year-old from Mumbai left his home because he was reprimanded for playing mobile games. The reports say that he skipped his coaching classes to play games and was hence scolded by his father.
