With determination to find his lost item, he used technology to track the lost AirPods and pinpointed the alleged thief’s current location in South Goa.
Seeking virtual help, Nikhil shared the suspect’s precise address and asked social media users to act as his digital detectives in retrieving the expensive gadget from the vicinity. Sharing the post, the user wrote, “I recently lost my new AirPods in Kerala and this bitch ass person is travelling with it. The person has been in South Goa for 2 days, so I’m guessing they live there. Does anyone here live around Dr Alvaro De Loyola Furtado road, Salcete, South Goa?”

Using a strategic move, Nikhil activated the lost mode on the device, ensuring that his contact number would display whenever someone attempted to connect the device. Surprisingly, numerous individuals stepped forward to help him recover the misplaced AirPods.
Some even located the house where the AirPods were allegedly taken. Additionally, others pledged their support, assuring the man that if they happened to be in the area, they would retrieve the AirPods for him.
Proposing a smart feature, a user suggested that Apple should introduce a feature allowing owners to record a personalised message. This way, whenever someone uses the AirPods, it would play the recorded message.
