A video featuring doppelgangers of some of India’s star cricketers has gone viral. Social media buffs have already found lookalikes of several Bollywood celebrities including Amitav Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Jumping into the trend, an Indian cricket fan has dug out the internet to discover people who have a striking resemblance to players like Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan and Jasprit Bumrah. The viral clip also featured a doppelganger of Australian spinner Adam Zampa.
The video opened with a person, whose wide smile would remind fans of Shubman Gill. Next came a tea seller, who appeared to have imitated the rat tail hairstyle of Ishan Kishan. Meanwhile, the lookalike of Jasprit Bumrah was seen enjoying a meal at a restaurant. The video ended with a young boy, whose facial expression was quite similar to that of Adam Zampa.

The hilarious video has attracted reactions from many cricket fans. One of them dropped a clip in the comment section where some people were seen going crazy after spotting the doppelganger of Virat Kohli in the middle of a road. The person had also donned a jersey of the Indian batting icon, with No. 18 written on its back.
“The craze for the duplicate Virat Kohli is unreal; now, just imagine the real Virat,” the user wrote.

Speaking about the cricketers, Shubman Gill has recently wrapped up his first series as India’s T20I captain. He led a young unit in a five-match assignment against Zimbabwe. The Men in Blue lost the opening T20I but bounced back in the following matches to notch a 4-1 victory in the away series.
Jasprit Bumrah was not part of the Zimbabwe tour. The veteran fast-bowler was given rest following the T20I World Cup where he was named the Player of the Tournament. Bumrah fetched 15 wickets in the ICC tournament, helping India secure the title after 17 years.
Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan has not donned the Blue jersey since November last year. The young wicketkeeper-batter has also lost his BCCI central contract. He represented Mumbai Indians in the last Indian Premier League (IPL) edition.
