Huge Chunk Of Ice Falls From Passing Aeroplane And Crushes Goat To Death

People living near airports keep complaining about the noise aeroplanes make while taking off and landing. Living near airports is not peaceful at all. Aeroplanes pass over the house every hour, rattling the windows every time they do so. A strange object fell from a passing aeroplane recently, creating a nuisance. A woman named Cassidy Lewis, living near an airport in America, was startled by a sound when an aeroplane passed over her house. She was forced to come out of her house to check on what had happened. She heard a huge noise when something fell into her house from the sky. What she saw after that shocked her to the point that she got afraid.

According to the reports, the incident happened in Utah, United States. The woman informed a news portal that an object fell from the sky around 9:30 am. She was working in her kitchen at that time. She ran out of her house, hearing the strange noise. She said, “I heard a loud bang, and it felt like the whole house shook.” She found a big hole in the roof of her animal shed. According to Cassidy, the object fell where her goats were. She found that an object fell on one of her goats and injured it. The goat reportedly died from the injury.

At first sight, she saw chunks of ice were scattered on the ground. The goat was bleeding severely due to the impact. From the size of the hole in the ground, she figured out that the object was large. According to her, “I think it was at least a basketball-sized chunk of ice.”

From the sound of the impact, Lewis feared that she was attacked with a bomb; however, she found out otherwise. After the incident, she informed the police. After the officials came to investigate, it was confirmed that the ice fell from an aeroplane. The investigation was handed over to the Federal Aviation Administration. An investigation was initiated by them after they took over the case.

Lewis experienced shock due to the incident; she panicked every time a plane passed over her house. According to her, “Honestly, every time I hear a plane going over, I get nervous.”
