What comes to your mind when you think about cutting a huge tree? You might think it requires a whole task force and sophisticated machinery, and you aren’t completely wrong. Now, a video of a man cutting a tree in just a couple of steps, without using elaborate gear has gone viral. The man is strategically tied to the tree and uses a chainsaw to cut it into two. It is unclear where the video is. The identity of the man cutting the tree is not known, either.

In the comments, many praised the man for skillfully cutting the tree without injuring himself or others. Appreciating his skills, an Instagram user wrote, “Salute to this person. Look at his confidence.” Another person wrote, “Experience is always greater than Ph.D’s.” Someone joked, “Bro don’t follow physics, physics follow bro.”
An Instagram user observed, “That’s the standard, universally known way of cutting down a tree. There’s nothing special here apart from poor health and safety.”
This is not the only video that shows a worker seamlessly doing a difficult task with fineness. Back in February 2023, Norwegian diplomat Erik Solheim shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) that showed people acing tasks like clearing out rubble, transporting concrete, and painting. While sharing this video Solheim wrote, “This is what it looks like when you are good at your job.”
Commenting on it, an X user observed, “Most of the time, I don’t watch these videos, but these people are genuinely skilled, and anyone who calls this “unskilled labour that doesn’t deserve excellent pay & benefits” is an idiot.”
Similarly, in September last year, a video that showed a man cutting sandstone in equally sized slabs using a simple set of a chisel and hammer went viral. It was posted by the popular Instagram account called Smartest Workers on September 13. So far it has over 3.5 lakh views.
Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “I don’t know about the bricks but I’m sure I would have chipped my fingers off clean.” Another Instagram user wrote, “The machine is failing in front of this legendary guy. Respect.” Many people also described the video as oddly satisfying and calming.
