Bengaluru Lawyer Lauds IndiGo's 'Unbelievable Efficiency', Internet Agrees

A Bengaluru-based lawyer has given a shout-out to IndiGo for its “unbelievable efficiency”. Ajay Rotti, just out of curiosity, checked the budget carrier’s flying schedule and was surprised to find out that the aircraft (he was on) started it’s day at 6 am. Rotti on X (formerly Twitter) shared a screenshot of the complete day schedule of the flight and said, “Unbelievable efficiency. My Indigo flight from Chennai landed and parked at the International terminal. Just out of curiosity checked its schedule. The aircraft has been flying from 6 am getting ready for the 7th flight out of 8 schedules with 4 international legs! It will return to Bangalore tomorrow morning from Singapore! All of 24hrs machine is earning. Give the Devil it’s due!”

In no time, the post spread like wildfire on social media.

A user commented, “Amazed by human evolution and achievement when I see these machines constantly crossing oceans and thousands of miles back to back.” Another person noted, “One of the few companies in the country that operates with world-class efficiency. Had to break the general wisdom of not investing in airlines, and have been rewarded well for it.”

While some users questioned the flight’s maintenance, a person wrote, “I am sure they have well-trained maintenance engineers who are carrying out maintenance mid-air.” Another one said, “but poor maintenance and taking care of passengers … they are not switching on the AC..”. A user also commented, “Worry about the maintenance. Read a bit about Indigo safety issues on Google Corporate maximisation till the last drop isn’t always best. They outsource their maintenance and few other cost-saving ideas, I find bad for safety.”
